Next, the remaining players reveal their cards. Some of the hands that players can make are a Straight Flush, Full House, Four of a Kind, Two Pair, and One Pair. When two or more players have a straight, the highest card wins.

In addition to this, all five cards of a poker hand must be of the same suit. Occasionally, a single wild card can be used to form a Five of a Kind. Likewise, two pairs can be formed with two wild cards. Similarly, a Three of a Kind can be made when three cards of the same number are revealed.

Poker games vary in the amount of cards dealt, the rules for betting, and the number of rounds of play. Some games also allow for side pots. These pots are awarded to the best hand according to the specific rules of the game. For example, some games do not consider straights or flushes when determining the rank of a hand. Other games award the pot to the lowest hand.

Poker is often played in casinos. It has also become popular in private homes. Typical poker games are played with seven or more cards, although some variations do not.
