Other types of slots are configured using a special Slot Dialog that is docked to the Slot Viewer. To dock a slot, drag the slot’s icon anywhere on the Slot Viewer.
Periodic slots are used to represent data that repeats at a regular interval. For example, a reservoir’s evaporation coefficients may vary by season, but they do not change annually. Periodic slots can be configured with a range of options, such as period, interval, and data interpolation. The periodic slots can then be accessed in RPL with the standard series syntax: Periodic, Interval: Slot[E] or Periodic, Row: Slot[E]. The configuration options for the period, interval, and data interpolation are available from the View menu.
